1. As I see those battle scenes, I just imagine the spiritual warfare that goes on all around us. That should make our willingness to perservere and fight the good fight even more diligent.
2. When we, as Americans, realize what many international Christians face in the way of persecution, we have no excuse not to be bold as lions.
I almost say this with tears in my eyes, but ... "I will go to battle with you." Sure, I might not be right at your side, but I'm battling to save the lives of others who need a voice to speak to them. I'm battling Satan's army by not laying down and doing what he would like me to do. Satan would love for me to do absolutely nothing. I'm taking a stand and boldly proclaiming that nothing... absolutely nothing can help you to pry me away from me and my God.
